Antique Hardware Supply Returns & Exchanges Policy
At Antique Hardware Supply, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction with every purchase. If you wish to return or exchange merchandise, please review and follow the guidelines below carefully. These policies pertain to standard retail purchases only.
Retail Return Policy
Customers may request a Return Authorization Number (RAN) by emailing [email protected]. Include your name, order number, and the items you wish to return. Return Authorization Numbers cannot be issued over the telephone.
The Return Window begins on the day the order is delivered and ends on the day the merchandise arrives at our warehouse. Merchandise must reach our warehouse within this period to be eligible for return. Returned items must be in resalable condition, including all original packaging and documentation, and must not be installed, altered, incomplete, or damaged.
Return for In-Store Credit

Returns as in-store credit received within 30 days of delivery date receive full in-store credit. No restocking fee.

Returns as in-store credit received between 31 and 40 days of delivery date incur an 20% restocking fee.

Returns for in-store credit will NOT be accepted after 40 days of delivery date.

Your return must arrive at our warehouse within the timelines listed above to be eligible for a return.
Return for Refund to Credit Card

Returns to credit card received within 30 days of delivery date incur an 20% restocking fee.

Your return must arrive at our warehouse no later than 30 days after you received your order.
- Returns to credit card will NOT be accepted after 30 days.
Exceptions:

Installed, altered, or custom orders (including engraved, lacquered, or otherwise personalized items) are ineligible for return.

Red Tag items are not eligible for return.

Individual components of a product (e.g., screws, nuts, bolts) cannot be returned for partial credit; only complete products may be returned.

All lighting products (chandeliers, sconces, pendants, semi-flush, flush mounts, table lamps, etc.) and fans incur a 30% restocking fee on all returns.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Merchandise
Antique Hardware Supply will accept damaged, defective, or incorrect merchandise for replacement with the same item if reported within 7 days of receiving your order. Customers are responsible for inspecting all merchandise upon delivery and notifying us of any damage, defects, or shipping errors by emailing within this 7-day period by emailing [email protected].
Please note: Items that arrive damaged or incorrect are eligible for replacement only, not refund. If you choose not to receive a replacement, the item may be returned under our standard return policy outlined above.
General Terms

All returns and exchanges must include completed paperwork. Missing or incomplete paperwork may delay processing and may result in additional restocking fees.

Refunds and credits are issued once the manufacturer releases the funds, typically within 3–7 days of receipt and inspection.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Orders paid fully or partially with in-store credit are not eligible for refund to a credit card, only in-store credit.
Cancellations
Antique Hardware Supply will make every effort to accommodate order cancellations prior to shipment; however, we cannot guarantee that any order can be cancelled, regardless of how quickly the request is submitted after purchase. Once processing with the manufacturer has begun, cancellations may incur standard restocking fees, or may not be possible. Cancellations should be submitted by email to [email protected]
Trade Advantage Returns
Members of our Trade Advantage network are not eligible for refunds to their original method of payment. Instead, returns can only be exchanged for in-store credit, applicable to future purchases. This policy ensures that Trade Advantage benefits professionals committed to multiple projects, fostering ongoing partnerships rather than one-off personal purchases. Please note that using your Trade Advantage discount for personal purchases violates our terms of service.
Trade Advantage members follow the same exchange policies as our customers.
Policy Updates
Antique Hardware Supply reserves the right to update or revise this Returns & Exchanges Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will apply to all current and prior orders, superseding any conflicting previous policy statements.
